Genshin Arena is a personal fan project where I reimagined Genshin Impact—the open-world RPG—into a mobile fighting game. As part of this concept, I designed the user flow, UX wireframes, and UI, created and modified in-game screenshots, redesigned some of the original icons, and designed a set of new ones to match the style and gameplay direction.

My main inspirations for this project came from the visual design of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, as well as Shadow Fight Arena, which heavily influenced the fighting game mechanics.
There were more ideas I wanted to refine within the scope of the project, but the piece grew so large that I had to set some concepts aside in favor of development speed. I initially began working on it a year ago and revisited it multiple times between my primary work and other side projects. At this point, I just wanted to publish it—regardless of the form—rather than let it sit unfinished.
Fun fact: This project wouldn't have turned out nearly as well without my wife’s help. I’m not a Genshin player myself, so as a hardcore Genshin enthusiast, she provided invaluable feedback and even shared some in-game screenshots. There are a few details in the project that only Genshin players are likely to notice and appreciate.
